Use this tool to determine any one taper dimension when the other three are known. Begin by choosing which value you want to solve for: Small Diameter (D_s), Large Diameter (D_l), Length (L) — defined as either the hole depth or the straight-line distance between D_l and D_s — or the Angle (θ). Enter the remaining values, and the tool will compute the missing dimension. Angle inputs are accepted in decimal degrees, Degrees Minutes Seconds (DMS) format, or common taper formats such as Taper Per Inch (TPI), Taper Per Foot (TPF), 1 in X, and ratio.
