Reaming Speeds & Feeds Calculator (HSS & Carbide)

This calculator generates starting spindle speeds and feed rates by applying standard practices to baseline Gammons material data. It utilizes Diameter Factors and Tool Life adjustments to scale surface feet per minute (SFM) and feed per revolution (FPR) based on your specific machining environment.

To use, simply select a material to be cut, and enter the diameter of the reamer. After the material and diameter fields are filled, the calculator will automatically update as you adjust each parameter.
